The news presented to us on a local news channel in Düzce as “They Used Water Illegally for Years, Divapan’s Million Dollar Illegality!” has no connection with reality.

Our Divapan Entegre Ağaç Panel San. Tic. A. Ş. MDF factory, which has been operating under Bera (Kombassan) Holding since 1998, has supported the people of the region for years, opened its doors to anyone in need, and has supported and continues to support associations such as schools, mosques, etc., especially clubs and municipalities that requested support. While supporting the development of our country by producing for years, our company, which has directly and indirectly contributed to the employment of the people of the region and thousands of families, has been deeply saddened by this ugly, uninvestigated news in the press.

Our company has documented its quality and environmental inspections with the inspections conducted by TSE every year and has undertaken a tradition of always improving itself in this regard. The claims in the news that the well was not enough and water was drawn from the stream, workers were made to drink water from the well, they have not paid a single penny for years, etc. are completely unfounded.

Due to the inadequacy of the water infrastructure in the region, Divapan has installed a meter on the well water licensed by the DSI, the electricity of which we pay ourselves to extract the water we have invested in and opened the well, upon the request of the municipality. The monthly fees we pay with this meter are kept in our accounting. Our personnel can easily access drinking water through 21 refrigerated water fountains in the factory with Kardelen Water Inc. products, which is also a Bera Holding company.
