Divapan Entegre is one of the well-established industrial corporations in our country producing MDF and MDFlam. Divapan, which produces in an area of 300,000 square meters with 47.000 square meters closed area, is the first company to receive an international quality certificate in its sector and has reached a large production volume that exceeds the borders of the country in a short period of time. Divapan is proud to be among the leading companies that meet the growing needs of the sector with its superior technology, young and expert staff, wide and high quality product range and service conception.

The computers in our factory are interconnected with a network. At all production lines benefited from all facilities foreseen by technology and production systems, especially in our recently established plants, are fully automated. We have cameras that can monitor and record all points in production lines and outside area in our factory. Thanks to cameras, security and control are at the highest level.

Our laboratory and measurement devices are regularly calibrated and necessary measures and precautions are taken for the accuracy of the tests and measurements.

The MDF production line includes a chipping machine, a 125 m³ hard and soft wood silo, a fibrating machine, a pneumatic and mechanical sieve, a fiber laying-press and sizing unit, and the first and last sanding units. In our laboratory, there are two bending-tensile strength machines (also the density is measured with this machine), one profile density measuring machine, one etu-PH meter-magnetic stirrer-fiber sieve-fiber moisture meter-water bath-air conditioning cabinet.

MDF is a wooden plate product such as particle board and blockboard. The abbreviation means Medium Density Fireboard. In German, this phrase is the initials of the words Mittel Dichte Faserplatten, so the abbreviation is universally accepted and used. While round peeled valuable trees in plates are used in the making of plywood and blockboard, wood that has low fuel value is used in the making of MDF. Their general principle is that the trees are separated into small pieces and converted into plates under high pressure and temperature with synthetic glues.

Particle board and MDF are separated from each other by the production and shape of these small parts. In the making of particle board, these parts are produced at the mechancal choppers in the form of fine spindles  0.2 mm - 0.6 mm long, whereas in the making of MDF these parts are produced by breaking the wood into its fibre in defibrators with high vapor pressure and temperature, and in between discs that require electric energy in large amounts. Therefore, the production cost of MDF is much higher than of the particle board. MDF is essentially the type of plate that is closest to the solid wood among types of boards. MDF is used in all processes which solid wood is subjected. So it can be drilled and shaped with milling machine. The milling process is very limited in other types of plates. Because its strength values are also very close to the solid wood, especially thin MDFs can be substituted for expensive thin plywood boards.

It can be used on the surface of flush doors flatly as well as it can be used as outer door surface coating in different forms in forming presses. As a result of all these superior qualities, MDF has found a wide range of use in furniture manufacturing today.

It can be painted because it accepts all kinds of paint on its very smooth surface, and it also can be used by coating with patterned melamine resin or lacquered papers.

We call these coated boards MDFLAM. Divapan currently produces MDFLAM. Our MDF production has a very rich collection in terms of both wood and fancy designs.
